Operators, we the DBARA Board truly hope you are enjoying your membership and thank you for being a valued member of our organization.

Earlier this year, DBARA had acquired and developed a third repeater site. This acquisition permitted DBARA to add two repeaters to our family of repeaters, 927.0125 MHz and the other, 444.850 MHz. This brings DBARA’s K4BV family of repeaters to four spread over three locations throughout coastal Volusia County, and all with superior performance and reliability.

DBARA’s VE Team will be providing examinations with Laurel VE Testing. Laurel testing will be in-person and offered at no cost to test candidates, FREE. In addition to testing our Laurel VE Team is prepared to assist members with license renewals as well as other license administrative needs.

We continue to host interesting amateur radio presentations from industry leaders and have added a library to our collaborative DBARA Discord platform. DBARA Groups IO email service had also been introduced in 2025 and is growing quickly. We encourage members to take advantage of both these services.

It’s again that time of year when we very respectfully ask of you to renew your membership for 2026. All memberships expire December 31st. DBARA Club Dues become due January 1st. Dues maybe paid in-person at the General Membership Mtg, Paid by check and mailed to our PO Box, or via PayPal. If you choose the convenient PayPal option please provide your callsign in the message box to better ensure proper credit for your 2026 dues payment.
