Annual Business, Awards and Installation of Officers Banquet

Sunday, December 6th, 2009 at 5:30 PM

The Daytona Beach Amateur Radio Association had its annual banquet at the Daytona Beach Golf and Clubhouse Restaurant on the evening of December the sixth 2009. A majority of the 2008/2009 officers arrived early in anticipation of setting up the table decorations. At first glance it looked great and later proved out to be a good working arrangement overall for everyone. The podium with microphone was setup and in working order for the Master of Ceremonies Arthur Byrnes, KA4WDK. We got to get him a new joke book by next year.

At 5:30 PM sharp our incoming and outgoing President opened the banquet with his opening message, "let’s eat we can talk later!" The path to the kitchen suddenly got very busy as the wait staff went into action.
