Introduction to the DaytonaFox @ YahooGroups

by Jeff Mathews, KG4DHZ, Moderator of the Group

I would like to introduce the DaytonaFox group at YahooGroups.

DaytonaFox is a group specifically put together to help organize and keep informed all members and friends interested in Radio Direction Finding (Fox Hunting) in the Daytona Beach area. If you are interested in radio hunting, please check us out below. The group will allow us to filter special messages from regular chatter, as we all get quite a bit of email on a regular basis on radio hunts. I have also created a few polls to get a better idea what the membership would prefer.

In time, I hope this group will allow everyone to have an equal part in the operations held in the East Volusia area, and to keep everyone informed of upcoming hunting events. With any luck, we can get everyone on the same page and make the experience better for newcomers as well!

Thanks for your time!

Why Should I Consider Joining DaytonaFox Yahoo Group
by Bob Ledford, WA4IDI

This tidbit of information is based on the word "Assume."  Don't assume that if you have been a long term DF''er in Volusia County that everyone has your e-mail address on file or that you are listed on every hunters address book.

Take a few minutes of  your time and join the Yahoo Groups mailing list for DaytonaFox Hunters Group.  Jeff Mathews, is the "owner-moderator" of this group and he is doing a darn good job of trying to keep it oriented around the subject matter of Amateur Radio Direction Finding, Direction Finding, Bunny Hunting or Fox Hunting.  Pick your favorite terminology for the  sport and it is here and only here.

The Daytona Beach or Volusia County DF'ing group needs to have a reach one reach them all type of mailing list that is active and hobby oriented.  This is it!  Help Jeff help you by joining the list.  If you decide you want off just unsubscribe and you come off the list as fast as you got on it. DBARA or Jeff will not sell your address to anyone else either.

This is an activity of DBARA you do not have to be a member of DBARA to belong to just interested in the sport of ARDF, DF, BH or FH which ever term you like the best.  The DBARA group would love it if you were a supporting member but it is not a requirement for belonging.

Get your name on the list, join us for some fun, and stay up to date with the latest activities.
