Appointee Positions Presidential Advisor - Jeff Mathews, AJ4MQ Public Information Officer - Reverend Glenn R. Jones, KJ4MNW Duties of Positions or "what does the job entail as far as what is expected of me." President: Duties of the President: 1. The President shall preside at all meetings of the Association and shall conduct the same according to the rules adopted; 2. He shall enforce due observance of the Constitution and By-laws; 3. decide all questions of the order; 4. sign all official documents that are adopted by the Association, and none other; 5. and perform all the duties customary and pertaining to the Office of the President. 6. The President shall be the Chairman of the Executive Board and Member ex-officio of all Committees and shall appoint or solicit the Chairmen of all Committees. Term of Office: One (1) year can serve consecutive terms. Vice President: The Vice President shall assume all duties of the President in the absence of the latter. Term of Office: One (1) year can serve as many terms as possible Secretary: 1. The Secretary shall keep a record of the proceedings of all meetings, 2. keep a roll of the Membership, 3. carry on all correspondence, 4. read communications at each meeting, 5. and mail written notices to each member of every meeting of the Association. 6. He/she shall at the expiration of his/her term, turn over his/her successor everything in his/her possession belonging to the Association. Term of Office: One (1) year can serve as many terms as possible Treasurer: 1. The Treasurer shall receive and receipt for all monies received and expended. 2. He shall pay no bills without proper authorization by the Association or the Executive Board based upon presentation of vouchers, bills, or receipts. 3. He shall at the expiration of his term, turn over to his successor everything in his possession belonging Association. An audit shall be made at the end of his term of office by the Executive Board or by the Executive Board appointee. Term of Office: One (1) year can serve as many terms as possible Director's: There shall be three (3) Directors elected. 1. One of these is exofficio the immediate Past President of the Association. 2. The second director shall be elected to serve a term of two (2) years, election to take place in even numbered years. 3. The third director shall also be elected to serve a two year term in odd numbered years... the year to that in which service on the Board begins in both cases. One of the two directors shall be the designated Repeater Committee Chairman. Term of Office- Two (2) years on a rotation basis. One (1) per year staggered over two (2) years.
